Arthur ‘Red’ Bolduc started racing in the late 1940’s. He was part of that post-war generation of wheelman who raced up to 7 nights a week, many of them making a living off their winnings around the northeast.

In his career, Bolduc had 8 wins at the Waterford Speedbowl. He also earned 15 checkered flags at Seekonk Speedway, including a 500 lap team race win with Bill Slater.

Bolduc also won at Norwood Arena, Plainville Stadium and Thompson Speedway. At Norwood, he raced for legendary female car owner Bertha Small, usually in a #23 car.

In June 1960, Bolduc took a sharp right coming out of the turns. He died in the hospital the following day at the age of 35.
