Car Owner Gordon Ross was a Rhinebeck, NY native who fielded cars at Harvey Tattersall Jr‘s Riverside Park Speedway in Agawam, MA during the 1950’s & early 1960’s. Drivers who drove Ross’ #19 to the winner’s circle include Buddy Krebs, Jerry Humiston, Jocko Maggiacomo.

By the mid-1960’s, he changed his operation to focus on dirt racing, most notably at Lebanon Valley Speedway. He retired from racing by the end of the decade.

He was inducted into the NEAR Hall of Fame in a special Pioneers induction ceremony in 2012.
