Wally Silva, from Lincoln, MA, was a fixture at Norwood Arena in the 1950’s and 1960’s, racing against the likes of Bill Slater, Fats Caruso, Reino Tulonen, Fred Schulz and Fred Borden and scoring multiple wins in the Modified and Sportsman classes. Wally was also a 3 time winner at Westboro Speedway.

He was inducted into the NEAR Hall of Fame in a special Pioneers induction ceremony in 2012.
