CLASS OF 2016

The 1988 NASCAR Winston Cup Rookie of the Year tops an impressive resume for the Fitchburg, MA resident. Starting as a teenager in the early 1970’s, he was soon a contender.

At 20 years old, he won the inaugural 1975 Yankee All-Star League race at Waterford, eventually earning the series championship in Bob Ramstrom’s #35 against the biggest names in modified racing.

Ken won on both the NASCAR Winston Modified Tour in 1986 and NASCAR Busch North Series in 1990. He made 44 starts on the Busch Grand National (now Xfinity) Series from 1983-1991 and in 1988 won the Rookie of the Year honors on the NASCAR Cup Series, 7 years after his brother Ron did the same. Bouchard also made 5 starts in the NASCAR Truck Series in the late 1990’s.

He has over 100 career wins in modifieds & late models at New England tracks like Thompson Speedway & Stafford Speedway in CT, Westboro Speedway & Riverside Park Speedway in MA, Star & Monadnock Speedways in NH and Oxford Plains Speedway in Maine.
