Dave Lind’s racing career began in the late 1960’s. In a five year span from 1969-1973, he scored Late Model wins at Seekonk Speedway, Catamount Stadium, Stafford Speedway, Thunder Road Speed Bowl, Thompson Speedway and Norwood Arena.

He would open Dave Lind Tire in 1972 and its growth halted his racing career a few years later. With Goodyear, McCreary and American Racer, Lind serviced numerous New England tracks plus regional series like the NASCAR Modifieds, ACT and PASS tours.

Lind retired from driving in the early 1990’s after making a handful of NASCAR Busch North Series starts. He retired from the tire business in 2012 after 40 years in the business.
