Pete Falconi

Flagman, Announcer
CLASS OF 2021

Born into a racing family, Pete Falconi began learning about the sport at a young age. He grew up attending races at Westboro Speedway, Brookline Speedway and Thompson Speedway.

When his father John took over operation of Westboro, Pete got a chance at his dream job as a flagman. And while his brothers were successful car owners, he would eventually transition to the announcer’s booth. Pete would not only be on the mic, but also promoted the facility for a few seasons until it permanently closed in the mid-1980’s. Pete would then take his voice to other facilities.

Over his career, Falconi would call races at Seekonk Speedway, Stafford Speedway, Lee USA Speedway and Thompson Speedway.

Pete has been the voice of New Hampshire Motor Speedway for a quarter century. He has also been the voice of the NEMA midgets for over 20 years as well.

A lifelong resident of Southborough, MA, when he’s not announcing at a race track Pete Falconi owns & operates five radio stations in New Hampshire and Maine.
