The Vermont native Jeff Horn began his racing career as a teenager in the 1960’s and continued driving while in his 70’s during the 2020’s. His early cars were coupes he drove on asphalt tracks before he left to serve in the Vietnam War.

Upon his return, he relocated to Massachusetts and raced in the last seasons of Norwood Arena. But it wasn’t long before he traded in the fendered cars for the open-wheeled midgets and supermodifieds.

Horn frequently ran Star Speedway, Lee USA Speedway where he won often as well as travelling throughout New England on the NESMRA, NEMA and ARDC circuits. Other tracks where Horn made trips to victory lane include Riverside Park Speedway, Seekonk Speedway, Stafford Speedway and Waterford Speedbowl.

He debuted on dirt as a 67 year old rookie and continued to win races, often visiting victory lane at Bear Ridge Speedway with the USAC DMA Midgets.
