Boston native Dick Shuebruk began his career in 1928 and found success in big cars, stock cars and midgets during his career. He would visit victory lane more than 50 times throughout the northeast from 1932-1952.

He was also a 3-time New England Big Car Association champion. He also notably won the first midget race ever held at Riverside Park Speedway. Other track where he won races include Alumni Field, Baylies Stadium, Dracut Speedway, Keene, Newmarket, Topsfield and Weymouth.

During the post-WWII boom, Shuebruk drove midgets for Davison and Oscar Ridlon. He was part of a formidable race team driving Ted Koopman Offy with Ed Casterline & Joe Sostilio. He was also teammates for a time with Johnny Bernardi in the Ed Stone Offy.

Dick Shuebruk passed away in 1983.
