CLASS OF 2021
Kelly Moore’s success and longevity made him a legend of Maine motorsports. A product of Oxford Plains Speedway’s incredible Late Model Sportsman division of the 1980’s, he would eventually win the 1984 Pro Stock track championship.
He then became a staple of NASCAR’s Busch North Series, winning at least 1 race in each of the series first 9 seasons (1987-1995). He would race full time in the series until 2004, winning 26 races and the 1995 series title. He finished in the Top 6 of championship points in all but 2 seasons from 1987-2004. From 2005-2007, he paired back to compete just in the New Hampshire Speedway races, including his 27th BNS win in 2006.
He returned to weekly racing by the 2010’s, winning regularly at both Oxford Plains & Beech Ridge speedways.
Other New England tracks where Moore scored wins during his career include Stafford Speedway, Waterford Speedbowl, Star Speedway, Riverside Park Speedway, Lee USA Speedway, Thompson Speedway and Seekonk Speedway.
